Happy Valentine's Day

Having a quiet Valentine's Day at home. Bruce gave me a silver bracelet with Isaiah 40:31 inscribed on it "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." A good reminder to keep with me during trying times at work.

Trouble sleeping this week led me back to Psalm 37 "Do not fret because of evil people or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away...The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him."

Much accomplished today: started my paper on John Calvin, read a couple of chapters for NT Survey, baked a carrot cake and did some laundry. Life is good.
